Materialise is growing fast. To enable further expansion, the company is going through a transformation program whereby internal processes are optimized globally. Within the HR field, this involved the worldwide implementation of Workday.
The HR director requested Essensys to support the roll-out of Workday through an experienced HR transformation manager.
A significant part of the challenge was that new HR processes would alter management roles and responsibilities on a large scale. Such transformation had to be supported in an adequate way..
Solution
Our Essensys program manager worked out a project plan englobing:
- the selection of an adequate implementation partner
- the analysis, audit and extraction & cleaning of the masterdata
- the construction of a link with the company's proprietary systems
- the training and coaching of the HR staff
- testing of the tool before going live
Results
The Essensys program manager was able to deliver the agreed-upon program KPI's within pre-established time and budget, with very positive feedback from the entire HR staff.
